Pre Primary to Year 6
Bambara Primary School is a Public School for students in Kindergarten to Year 6. As Bambara Primary school is a local intake school, the School Education Action Act 1999 states that all compulsory aged children (students from Pre-Primary to Year 6) who reside in the local intake area are guaranteed an enrolment at our school. Children whose place of residence is not in the local intake area are recommended to attend a local intake school.

Enrolment Process
To enrol at Bambara Primary School, you will need to complete an Application for Enrolment Form Online Enrolment - Bambara Primary School, or collect a hard copy from our administration building. Once complete please return it to us either in person or via email, bambara.ps@education.wa.edu.au
The following information is essential and must be provided at the time of enrolment:
- Birth Certificate; Identity Documents
- Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) history (date within the last 9 months)
- Proof of address
- Court order (if applicable)
- Student’s most recent school report
- Emergency contact details
- Details of any disability
- Any ongoing medical condition and procedure to be followed during the school day. A Health Care Authorisation must be completed
If your application is successful, you will then be asked to complete a Student Enrolment Form from school. This form is included in a separate package of information available from the school office.
We request that parents please indicate the school year the child should be enrolled in. This can be done by using the school age calculator found on the Education Department website Enrol at a Western Australian school - Department of Education. Once the Application of Enrolment Form is complete with all attached documentation, it is reviewed and approved by the principal. The parent / guardian will then be contacted to complete the enrolment process.
It is essential that all of the information on these forms are accurate and current. All medical information needs to be correct at time of enrolment to enable the school to create an emergency response plan if one is required.It is vital that in an emergency, we are able to reach parents immediately. Should parents be unavailable, the emergency contact supplied will be called. Therefore, it is important this this contact information is kept updated.
Overseas Enrolments
Children holding an approved visa subclass are entitled to be enrolled at Bambara Primary School if they are living within our local area intake. Overseas students who do not have an entitlement to enrol in a public school may be enrolled on a full fee paying basis by contacting TAFE International.
