Chaplain

Our Opportunities

Chaplain

Bambara Primary School is pleased to offer the support of a School Chaplain, available two days per week, as part of our commitment to student and community wellbeing. The Chaplain provides confidential guidance and emotional support to students and families facing personal, relational, or financial challenges. Areas of support may include anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, ethical concerns, values and spiritual matters to name a few.

As an integral member of the school's pastoral care team, the Chaplain fosters a nurturing environment and encourages positive engagement within the broader community. The Chaplain also facilitates key wellbeing initiatives, including the Dry Pantry, which supports families in need by helping provide nutritious meals and essential supplies. The Chaplain can also connect families with external support services where appropriate.

Participation in the Chaplaincy Program is entirely voluntary. Students may self-refer or be referred by a parent, teacher, or the Principal.
