Before and After School Care

For Parents

Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care Program.

HOOSCI is a community based, not for profit, out of school care service which is run by a dedicated parent committee. We have two services based at Bambara Primary School and Springfield Primary School.

We have services located on site at Bambara Primary School and Springfield Primary School and offer a pickup and drop off service to children attending Padbury Community Kindergarten. Our Bambara service offers limited transportation services to children requiring before and after school care who attend local schools. We provide before school, after school and vacation care all year round to children from Kindy through to Year 6. .

All our Educators at HOOSCI are dedicated, caring and professional and provide an exciting program of indoor and outdoor activities including art and crafts, science experiments, cooking activities and ball sports. We also have a large range of outdoor equipment and a playground that the children can use in the afternoons and during Vacation Care.

As an approved and accredited Centre, families are eligible to Government Subsidies and can receive up to 85% off the fees payable.

At Bambara we are lucky enough to have exclusive use of a large space including separate kitchen area and toilets. This allows the children to spread out for craft and construction activities, games, homework and anything else the children may wish to do. We offer breakfast before 8am and a healthy snack for afternoon tea, we cater for all children's dietary requirements. If the children wish to take part in any of the school’s extracurricular activities, we can happily facilitate this for them.

Please feel free to pop in and see us at anytime we are here from 6:30AM-8:45AM and again from 2:00PM-6:00PM.
