Before & After School Care is provided at the Whitfords Family Centre.
HOOSCI is a community based, not for profit, parent committee run Out of School Care service based at Whitfords Family Centre in Hillarys and Bambara Primary School in Padbury.
The service caters for families at St Marks ACS, Bambara, Hillarys, Springfield, Whitfords Catholic and Mullaloo Beach Primary schools providing before, after and vacation care all year round to children from Kindy through to Year 6.
Our qualified, long standing, caring and experienced staff members provide an exciting program of activities including art/craft, outdoor, incursions and excursions.
HOOSCI is a not for profit organisation and the parent committee sets affordable fees and high quality programs. As an approved and accredited centre families are eligible for CCB and CCR via Centrelink to reduce costs further.
At Bambara we are lucky to have exclusive use of 2 air-conditioned classrooms, a wet area and toilets which enable the children to spread out for craft, construction, games, karaoke, homework, reading and energetic activities like dancing, without interruption by the school. As the centre is adjacent to the School Oval and Netball Courts we provide supervised outdoor fun with sporting equipment and free play.
Before School Care is provided at the Whitfords Family Centre on Endeavour Road in Hillarys and children are driven to school in our own buses with seatbelts for all and booster seats for under 7’s. Kindy and Pre-primary children are escorted to and from class by a HOOSCI carer to ensure smooth teacher handover.
HOOSCI opening hours are from 6.30am - 8.45am and 2.30pm - 6pm during term time or 7am – 6pm for vacation care. We also cater for Bambara Kindy half days on Wednesdays, 11.40am to 6pm.
Please feel free to drop into the centre at Whitfords or Bambara during opening hours to chat to staff and check out the wonderful facilities.
For further information and current fee information, please contact the Chris the HOOSCI Centre Director on 9307 8879 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
