Before and After School Care

For Parents

Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care Program.

HOOSCI is a community based, not for profit, out of school care service which is run by a dedicated parent committee. We have two services based at the Whitford Family Centre in Hillarys and Bambara Primary School in Padbury.

The service caters for families at St Marks ACS, Bambara PS, Springfield PS, Mullaloo Beach PS, Hillarys Community Kindy, Mullaloo Community Kindy and Caley Road Kindy. We provide before, after and vacation care all year round to children from Kindy through to Year 6.

Our qualified, long standing, caring and experienced staff members provide an exciting program of indoor and outdoor activities including art and crafts, science experiments, cooking activities and ball sports. We also have a large range of outdoor equipment and a playground that the children can use in the afternoons and during Vacation Care.

HOOSCI is a not for profit organisation with a parent committee who set affordable fees and high quality programs. As an approved and accredited centre families are eligible to receive the Child Care Subsidy via Centrelink to reduce costs further.

At Bambara we are lucky enough to have exclusive use of a large space including separate kitchen area and toilets. This allows the children to spread out for craft and construction activities, games, homework and anything else the children may wish to do. We offer breakfast of toast or cereal in the morning and a healthy snack for afternoon tea each day. If the children wish to take part in any of the school’s extracurricular activities, we can happily facilitate this for them.

Please feel free to pop in and see us at anytime we are here from 6:30AM-8:45AM and again from 2:00PM-6:00PM.
