Welcome to Bambara P & C Committee

At Bambara Primary School, our P&C Committee is committed to strengthening our school community by creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all families. We work closely with the school to support student learning, wellbeing, and engagement through both community events and fundraising initiatives. Throughout the year, the P&C organises a range of activities that bring people together and raise vital funds for projects and resources that directly benefit our students and enhance the school environment. Getting involved is a great way to stay connected, share your ideas, and contribute meaningfully to your child’s education.

Why Get Involved?

Joining the P&C is one of the most rewarding ways to engage with school life. Whether you attend meetings, help at events, or volunteer behind the scenes, your involvement helps shape the future of Bambara Primary. We hold one general meeting each term, and all parents and caregivers are welcome. Meeting dates are published in the Term Planner and Facebook page and via email to all committee members. Everyone is encouraged to come along, share ideas, and be part of the conversation. .

Executive Committee

The P&C Executive Committee is elected annually at our AGM, held in October. This team leads the coordination of events and fundraising activities, and we’re always looking for new members and volunteers. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your contribution is appreciated. For more information or to express interest, please contact us at bambarapandc@hotmail.com.

Our Impact

Thanks to the incredible generosity and participation of our school community, the P&C raised over $19,000 last year—funds that have gone directly back into supporting our students and improving school facilities. Some of the initiatives we proudly supported include:

  • Reading Eggs & Mathletics subscriptions
  • Year 6 Leavers’ shirts
  • Development of a sensory room
  • New shade sails
  • In past years, the P&C has also contributed to key school projects such as playgrounds, the kitchen garden, and the vibrant Melski mural. We are incredibly proud of these achievements and look forward to continuing our work in building a fun, inclusive, and supportive school environment for all Bambara families. .
