Our School
Bambara Primary School was established in 1978 and located in one of Perth's northern suburbs, Padbury, Western Australia.
Padbury is located 20km north of Perth and is in close proximity to a major shopping centre, public transport and the beach.
"Bambara" is an Indigenous word for "by trees and water". Our trees provide plenty shade for our students, staff and school community as well as encouraging a range of bird life.
Currently we have 211 students from Kindergarten to Year 7.
Our school has a number of specialist teachers which enhance our students learning program.
Bambara Primary School has a community feel with an active P & C group that make a valuable contribution to our school.
Bambara Primary School encourages and supports community and local business involvement in a wide range of areas such as the Easy Beat Walkers, Hillarys Out of School Care and After school Tutoring.
Our school community also regularly supports charity organisations such as the Cancer Council and SIDS for Kids. In previous years we have also raised money for a village in Cambodia, Japanese Tsunami and the Queensland Flood Appeal.
